My name is Ella (she/her), I am named after my paternal great grandmother, and my family name is Bareham. My family line dates back to Magnus Spence, Peter Whitford, and Alexander Sanderson in Manitoba. I live and work on the Treaty 7/ Métis Battle River Territory and am a member of the Metis Nation of Alberta.
I have been in the child care field since 2000 and have worked with the Innisfail Family Day Home Society since 2007, initially as a child care provider and then as a Consultant starting in 2010. I have also worked with the Red Deer College, 2014-2017, as an Early Learning & Child Care practicum coach and consultant with the School of Education.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my children and husband at our family cabin in BC, quadding, tanning hides, processing my own food, beading, crocheting, and relaxing with friends.
